Dear Merchant:
The Hispanic Heritage Fiesta Board of Directors is contacting merchants throughout South Central Idaho with the hope that they will be able to contribute to a worthwhile cause. Every year the Hispanic Heritage Board of Directors, a non-profit organization, host Un Dia en el Valle (A day in the Valley) in Twin Falls. The purpose of this event is to bring the Hispanic community together with others in the Magic Valley to celebrate, and provide education about the Hispanic culture. Next year’s Fiesta will be held on August 11th and 12th of 2012.

The Fiesta has continued to grow and features new events, including a Street Custom Magazine Car Show; a pageant; street dance; parade; and Miss Chiquitita contest. In the past, the Hispanic Heritage Board of Directors has relied upon generous financial and in-kind support from Magic Valley organizations and companies. The contributions have been greatly appreciated.

The main goal of the Hispanic Heritage Board of Directors is to offer scholarships to students. Students who receive these scholarships will be attending the College of Southern Idaho. We also have supported the children who attend the summer and after school programs at the Boys and Girls Club of Magic Valley as well as other fine organizations who provide meaningful services in our communities. It is important to the Hispanic Heritage Directors to insure every child has an opportunity to enhance their education and the ability to participate in positive character-building activities. In order to achieve these goals it is important for us to request contributions. In addition, the Hispanic Heritage Board of Directors would like to take this opportunity to thank you for your past support and extend our gratitude for whatever support your business may be able to provide at this time.
